Attorney Day has an extensive and diverse criminal defense practice. He has represented individuals in criminal investigations, criminal litigation, jury and court trials, appellate litigation, and habeas corpus litigation. He has represented individuals on matters as simple as speeding tickets, to matters as complex as federal appellate litigation, to habeas corpus litigation where the prosecution originally sought the death penalty.
Attorney Day has a particular interest in DWI, DUI, narcotics, assault, larceny and domestic violence matters.
Attorney Day has been qualified to serve as Assigned Counsel by the Office of the Chief Public Defender in Connecticut habeas corpus and appellate matters. In addition, Attorney Day has also been qualified to serve as counsel under the Criminal Justice Act for federal appellate litigation.
